MCAA Counseling Services

  • The MCAA counseling department services all students through individual and group counseling, classroom guidance lessons, parent/teacher consultation, and community agency referrals. The department’s delivery of services are data driven and based on the American School Counseling Association’s student mindsets and behaviors standards. All services aim to prepare students’ academic readiness, career exploration of Georgia’s 17 career clusters, and social/emotional development of being ready, respectful, and responsible. The counseling department’s goal is for students to be ready to take an active role in their learning experience; respectful of self and others’ differences; and responsible for being positive contributors to their school and community.
