October 18, 2016: SPLOST V Resolution Approved
The Board of Education of the City of Marietta, in a 6-0 vote, approved a five-year, $62.486M plan for schools to be funded by an extension of the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). The school board approved the plan as part of a resolution calling for a SPLOST III public referendum scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
