  • Medication Protocol

The MCS Health Services Team hopes everyone has a wonderful start to the new school year. As a reminder, the district requires a physician's signature for all prescription medications and over-the-counter medications that will be given for more than 10 consecutive days. Please contact your clinic nurse for any questions or concerns. You can find the Assist with Medication and Procedure forms in the "Commonly Used Health Services Forms" section of this page.

If your child is starting new medication during the school day or will need nursing assistance managing an acute or chronic illness during the school day, please contact your child's school nurse. Contact information can be found on the "Health Services Team Members" tab on the left of this page.
